On October 29th, our class will be having a party to celebrate our favorite book. Your child is bringing home a paper bag and a paper plate. With this, I would like you to create a costume for your child to wear. This costume should be their favorite storybook character from their favorite storybook. On Friday, October 29th, send the costume and the book to school with your child and we will have a party to celebrate books, reading, and our creativity.
Mrs. Bender's 3rd Grade class will help us with this party. They will come over and read to us We will also do a mini parade down to the office to show our costumes to whomever we might meet.
